Your Private Retreat
Set in 50 acres of meadow and woodlands and part of a beautiful 180 year old farmhouse with private pool, this gite has been sympathetically restored to a very high standard and will accommodate up to 12 people.
By the pilgrimage route to Saint Jacques de Compostelle and la Chevauchée d’Henri IV, we are located in the heart of beautiful Gascony, between the lively towns of Nérac and Condom.
The property is only rented as both gites together to the same group.
Gite 1
The gite is arranged over two floors (95m²). Downstairs there is a very spacious living area with satellite TV, DVD, WiFi and music system. Fully equipped kitchen. Double patio doors opening onto terrace BBQ and pool area. Upstairs there are 2 large double bedrooms with own en-suite and far reaching views.
Gite 2
The gite is arranged over two floors (145m²). Downstairs there is a very spacious living area with satellite TV, DVD, WiFi and music system. Toilet. Fully equipped kitchen. Double patio doors opening onto terrace BBQ and pool area. Upstairs there are 3 large double bedrooms (all en-suite) with far reaching views. A separate bathroom and toilet.
Pool & Activities
The pool is 6m x 12m. The pool and gardens are tended weekly. Bed linen and towels are changed weekly. A cleaning service is available.
On site, other activities include table tennis, basketball, shooting, archery, cycling, board games, or just relaxing.
Close by you can enjoy just about anything – walks, cycling, golf, tennis, horse riding, kayaking, karting, theme parks, shopping, wine and armagnac tasting, casinos and much more.
Further afield, day trips will allow you to enjoy the beach on the Atlantic or Mediterranean coast, skiing, surfing, rafting.
Gastronomy & Culture
We are located in an area famous for its gastronomy. Surrounded by opportunities to visit markets, châteaux, and domains, you can enjoy sampling the local food, wine and armagnac before settling into a relaxing meal at one of the many restaurants, from auberge to Michelin star.
Throughout the year there are numerous fêtes, music festivals and exhibitions.
Additional Services
To make your holiday even more enjoyable, we can arrange for a local chef to prepare delicious French cuisine at very reasonable prices, allowing you to spend a relaxing evening in.
For that extra special something, we can arrange for a range of therapists to spend an hour, a day (or more if you want!) with you. These offer services ranging from complementary therapies to help you relax and improve your general well being to traditional beauty treatments and exercise.
